Manchester Airports Group (MAG) aims to raise £1million for CLIC Sargent.
CLIC Sargent was chosen by the airport group after staff were polled to find out which cause they would like to support.
MAG serves more than 48 million passengers every year through its ownership and operation of Manchester, London Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth airports.
About the partnership
The partnership began in December 2015 with launch events at all four sites and there are big plans for the year ahead.
From plane pulls and takeover days, to head shaves and bucket collections, MAG staff will be throwing themselves into a variety of fundraising activities.
Charlie Cornish, CEO of MAG, said: "We’re very much part of the local communities that surround our sites, which is why we are committed to giving something back and ensuring that we make a lasting and impactful contribution to society.
"Being diagnosed with cancer is a frightening experience and the emotional, practical and financial implications of treatment are intensely challenging for the whole family, so we are pleased to announce CLIC Sargent as our new charity partner."
