Guests were greeted by 10-year-old Toby, looking very smart in his dinner jacket next to his car for the night, a DeLorean owned by friends Donna and David Henderson.
The event had looked like it was going to be cancelled two weeks before, but Toby and his family made a Facebook appeal and a radio appeal and were then mentioned on STV News in Scotland.
This resulted in ticket sales rocketing from 17 to well over 120.
The evening was a great success with guests being treated to canapés and bubbly on arrival, prepared by Little Venice and MasterChef winner Jamie Scott and his team providing a wonderful dinner.
Apart from the great food, guests were entertained by the excellent Rouges Gallery with Toby singing for their first number like an old pro.
A magician then went around the tables, and many raffle prizes were won with an exciting auction finishing off the fundraising.
Well done Toby
CLIC Sargent Area Fundraising Manager Peter Logie said: "Toby is currently being treated for leukaemia and the family have been passionate fundraisers for CLIC Sargent.
"The evening raised well over £5,000 for Toby’s dad Richie’s 300 mile cycle ride to Rio for CLIC Sargent. Well done Toby and your team for delivering a first class event."
