Grandmother holds 'Strictly Homemade' stall

Ann Evans, a grandmother from Evesham, has raised almost £4,500 for CLIC Sargent in under four months!

Ann has had great success organising a 'Strictly Homemade’ stall at her local farm shop and a coffee day at her home.

Friends of Ann’s also generously made various Christmas gifts to be sold in the Hampton Farm Shop, with all funds being donated to CLIC Sargent.

Ann started raising funds for CLIC Sargent soon after her seven year-old granddaughter, was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Ann explains: “CLIC Sargent was a tremendous help for my daughter and all the family. Especially the use of the fantastic facilities at the Bristol Home from Home, as the family was over 200 miles from home for the first five weeks of her treatment.

"Since then she has had the benefit of a CLIC Sargent Nurse, schooling, days out and support at the local hospital, where her treatment is on-going.”

Ann is already planning even more fundraising events for CLIC Sargent, as well as encouraging staff members at the farm shop to take part in the local CLIC Sargent skydive. Thank you Ann!
