Over 1,000 Union J fans gathered to watch their performance. Before the band performed, they also signed a canvas for the charity to auction off and had their photos taken to help CLIC Sargent to further publicise the partnership with Pulse in south Wales.
This event was the first of many great fundraisers the nightclub looks to hold for children and young people with cancer, with many more to come in 2013. Pulse will be supporting CLIC Sargent with fundraising activities not only in Cardiff, but also at its new venue in Swansea.
CLIC Sargent fundraising manager, James King said: “This event was an incredible way to start our partnership with Pulse in south Wales. The awareness we raised from this event is fantastic, and I’d like thank Union J and Pulse Cardiff for their support with this event. We look forward to a successful partnership in 2013.
“Keep your eyes peeled on CLIC Sargent’s south west fundraising Facebook page for news on how to bid for this fantastic piece of signed memorabilia from Union J. We hope we will raise a considerable amount of money from this to support children and young people with cancer.”
