Molly becomes a 'life-shaver'

Molly, 10, has shaved her hair off to raise a fantastic £600 to support young lives against cancer with CLIC Sargent. She was specifically showing support for three-year-old Lottie, who has been supported by the charity.

Molly becomes a 'life-shaver'

Molly braved the clippers as part of CLIC Sargent’s Big Buzz campaign for Lottie, who has been supported by CLIC Sargent during her treatment for a brain tumour.

Molly was surrounded by cheering and excited onlookers, who had all dug deep to sponsor Molly’s daring new look.

The scissors and clippers were offered around Molly’s family and friends, many of who took up the chance to be a hairdresser for the evening!

Lottie and her mum Laura cut off one of Molly’s plaits together before the rest of her hair was shaved.

Molly said: “I was really nervous and excited about having my head shaved for CLIC Sargent but it was worth it for such a great cause.

“I chose CLIC Sargent because I think it is an amazing charity and they do amazing work supporting families of children affected by cancer.”

Thank you

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Blaine Cooper-Jones said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to Molly for becoming a ‘life-shaver’ for CLIC Sargent.

“I think the finished result looks amazing! Molly was so brave to have all her hair shaved off and it was such a lovely thing to do in support of Lottie.”
