26 boys from the Scottish FA Regional Elite Performance Youth School at Grange Academy in Kilmarnock originally set themselves a fundraising target of £1,500 and raised over £6,000 for CLIC Sargent at a sponsored head shave and charity football match.

Coach Andy Goldie said: “The work CLIC Sargent does with children with cancer is amazing and we are delighted the money the players have raised will be going to an outstanding cause.

"It was a real team effort from the players, staff and families who took the day off work, the school and everyone who sponsored the boys."
