Worth Primary School donated a fantastic £1,200 to CLIC Sargent as part of the school's Charity of the Year.
Pupils at Worth Primary School raised the money after the charity supported a pupil of the school during their cancer journey. Both pupils and staff voted to support CLIC Sargent to raise money during 2017.
Worth Primary took part in many activities throughout the year including a sponsored run and Enterprise Week – where pupils sold products that they had made.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Collette Brown visited the school. During a school assembly Collette discussed CLIC Sargent's work and thanked the pupils and staff for their fundraising.
Collette said: “I was delighted to accept the cheque for such a fantastic amount at the schools assembly.
"For a such a small school, the pupils have raised an amazing amount which really will go a long way to helping support even more children and young people cancer in the future.”
