£1,298 already raised!

Maclay, Murray & Spens' have so far raised £1,298 to support our work with children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Staff members have been busy raising money for the charity since the partnership began in September last year with a dress down day, which raised £170.

In October staff organised, and took part in lots of themed activities for Halloween, including a 'Guess the Ghost' competition, cake sale and guess the number of spooky sweets in the jar.

Trainees from across the firm’s four offices were split into teams in an Alan Sugar Apprentice type challenge. They competed to raise as much money as possible by inventing various competitions and money making schemes.

Competitions ranged from Guess the Weight of the CEO to selling delicious doughnuts to the partners for their departments. The London office trainees alone raised a total of £495.52, including matched giving from the company.

Staff are also supporting CLIC Sargent through their companies Payroll Giving Scheme

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Elizabeth Charing said: “I want to thank the staff at Maclay, Murray & Spens’ London office for their fantastic fundraising achievements to support our work.

"Currently CLIC Sargent can only support two out of every three children and young people who are diagnosed with cancer, but with their help we will be able to make a bigger impact on their lives.”
