The event was organised by Paige’s family including mum Jayne Ormond, as a tribute to her wonderful daughter who sadly died in July 2017.
Jayne said: “Paige taught me how to be humble. She was the strongest person I have ever known. Such an inspiration to everyone she met. I’m so proud to be her mother.
"Paige and I actually planned the charity night together. It was going to be an 'up yours cancer' night. Sadly that wasn’t to be - I just hope we did her proud, I was overwhelmed with people’s kindness”.
The evening was a chance for Paige’s loved ones to unite and keep her memory alive with stories, food, music and fundraising for CLIC Sargent, which supported Paige during her illness.
The support from the local community was outstanding and there was a huge array of fantastic raffle and auction items available on the night which enabled a phenomenal amount of £2,728 to be raised.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Engagement Manager Cerys Sadler said: “We are honoured to receive this incredible donation in celebration of Paige’s life.
"We know the hard work and love that went into making this event a huge success and we are most grateful to everyone involved."
"We would like to give a special mention and thanks to Paige. This donation enables us to continue our fight for young lives against cancer by delivering care in the local community to support families when a cancer diagnosis is received”.
