A unique up-cycled clothing range
Fix Up Look Sharp is CLIC Sargent’s in-house up-cycled clothing range, which transforms charity shop donations into unique fashion pieces. 100% of profits from Fix Up Look Sharp sales help to support children and young people with cancer.
The range is designed and made in Bristol by the Deputy Manager of CLIC Sargent’s Shop on Gloucester Road, Ruth Strugnall and volunteers Gemma and Hayley.
Ruth said: “Our favourite pieces include the sweats; they are fun to do and our best seller. We also have a variety of festive Christmas sweats on the way!
“It’s always exciting when a real jazzy duvet cover is donated, giving enough fabric to make a jumpsuit, with perhaps a denim shirt to match and definitely a scrunchie or two!
"The autumn/winter must have from the collection is the lined bomber jackets up-cycled from a vintage sweat and donated fabrics."
The new Fix Up Look Sharp range is now available to purchase from the Fix Up Look Sharp online shop.
There is a range of different ways to volunteer and be part of the Fix Up Look Sharp project.
These roles include the following:
Do you have a passion for upcycling, as well as excellent sewing and pattern cutting skills? Then we’d love to hear from you.
We have regular photo shoots and are always in need of a flexible photographer with experience of fashion shoots.
If you want experience in modelling and you think you fit the Fix Up Look Sharp image, you could model at our next photo shoot.
