The charity partnership launches on Tuesday 18 February with a popcorn party and special guest Lydia Bright, fashion designer and former star of The Only Way is Essex, at CLIC Sargent’s Home from Home in London.
Children and young people living with cancer and their families who have been supported at Paul’s House near University College London Hospital and Great Ormond Street are in for a treat, as they celebrate the partnership launch with CLIC Sargent supporter Lydia.
For every pack of CLIC Sargent Salt Topcorn sold, Metcalfe’s skinny will make a donation to the charity. The funds raised could pay for vital services such as 1,000 nights in one of CLIC Sargent’s Homes from Home, which provide free self-catering accommodation near to specialist hospitals.
Lucy Caldicott, Director of Fundraising at CLIC Sargent says: “We are very excited about our fresh new partnership with Metcalfe’s skinny as we will be able to raise great awareness of the range of support we provide on one of their popular products.”
Julian Metcalfe, Creative Director and Chairman of Metcalfe’s Food Company says: “We are looking forward to our three-year partnership with CLIC Sargent, to help ensure that every child and young person living with cancer gets the most out of life as possible.”
At 108 calories a bag, Metcalfe’s skinny’s deliciously light popcorn is the perfect healthy snack, whether on-the-go or relaxing in front of a film.
