Zombies in Worcester raise £200

The misty streets of Worcester had zombies of varying shapes, sizes and stages of decay descend into The Wetherspoons Crown Bar on Broad Street to take part in raffles, face painting and games.

When the bell tolled noon, the zombies amassed into the local streets for all to see, and under the careful watch of ‘Shaun and Pete’, the horde made its way around Worcester bringing smiles to onlookers young and old as the mob groaned and shuffled looking for brains to feast on.

Luckily, after helping to raise £200, the people of Worcester survived, for now.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Lydia Buckmaster said: “This is a great and exciting way to get fundraising, whilst raising awareness of childhood cancer in the local area.
