Nothing like a 10k stroll on a beautiful Sunday morning!

This year’s Grand Western Canal 10K saw people jog, walk, and run for children and young people with cancer.

Nothing like a 10k stroll on a beautiful Sunday morning!

Participants travelled alongside the picturesque canal, a beautiful green corridor that winds itself from Tiverton to Sampford Peverell, allowing them to finish at The Merriemeade, where they were presented with medals and the merriment of their family and friends.

CLIC Sagent Fundraising Manager Joy Morley hosted this year’s event alongside the Mid-Devon Committee, which has organised the event for the past five years.

She said: “This year’s event was another great success for CLIC Sargent and the families we support.

“I hear some great stories for the reasons people take part in this event, from personal ambitions to running in memory of someone they loved. This event provides an opportunity for the community to get together and remind each other that we are all here to support those who need it!”

Thank you!

CLIC Sargent would like to thank the following companies and artists for their participation and support on the day, for raising the bar on a charity community event and making it such a success.
