Three friends take on Yorkshire's highest peaks

Three friends, Tracey, Catherine and Carole are taking on Yorkshire’s three highest peaks this September to support CLIC Sargent.

The trio decided to embark on the challenge after their friend’s daughter, Emily, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in October 2012. Emily has begun a two and a half year treatment plan.

The three friends intend to make the 23.5 mile journey across Pen y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, a climb of 5,485 feet, in less than 12 hours and want to raise as much as they can for the charity to say thank you for the support CLIC Sargent has given Emily and her family.
