Musical evening raises over £800 for CLIC Sargent

A music concert held at Islwyn Indoor Bowls Club, Newport in aid of CLIC Sargent has raised over £800 for the charity.

Music was provided by Cardiff Live Music Club's Keyboard Orchestra. The Keyboard Orchestra is comprised of keen amateur keyboard players who regularly entertain at residential and day care homes, playing a variety of music.

Long term CLIC Sargent supporter, Elsie Ball was the MC for the evening. Elsie has raised a considerable amount of money for CLIC Sargent over the years. She did a magnificent job of entertaining an audience of over 60 people, including the Mayor of Blackwood, Granville Hale.

The concert proved to be an outstanding success and raised £861 for the CLIC Sargent.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Ceris Bradley said: "What a fantastic amount raised! Thanks to Elsie and everyone else involved, a great evening raising money for a great cause! We are really grateful for Elsie’s continued support."
