Dare devils zip slide the Clyde to raise an incredible £13,000

Brave participants have completed the daunting challenge of zip sliding from a 150ft tall crane, 1,500m across the River Clyde, to raise money for children and young people with cancer.

There were several large groups involved, many of whom had children or family members that are being cared for by CLIC Sargent and wanted to give something directly back to the charity.

CLIC Sargent fundraising manager, Richard Donald said: “We were delighted that the weather held out and allowed this fantastic event to go ahead, to see so many happy faces achieve personal goals by taking part was amazing. Many participants have family members undergoing treatment at the moment and were delighted to be contributing towards funds to help others with cancer."

Thank you so much to everyone that was involved in helping to raise the £13,000 for CLIC Sargent.
