Hats on for Kilmaine Primary

The wonderful pupils of Kilmaine Primary School, Bangor County Down, donned their wacky hats for a day and raised an incredible £1,400 for young lives against cancer!

Kilmaine Primary don their hats!

Kilmaine Primary School fundraises each summer for CLIC Sargent to help to raise vital funds for yong lives against cancer.

Master Peter Thompson organises school events every year that all the children, from Primary One to Primary Seven, can get involved in.

This year, Kilmaine pupils raised funds by not only swapping their uniform for their own clothes, but also donning groovy hats too!

They raised an amazing £1,400 and joined the fight for young lives against cancer.

Making a difference

CLIC Sargent provides tailored specialist support, to help and guide each young cancer patient and their family. The cost of supporting each family is on average £4,000.

To date Kilmaine Primary School has raised over £11,000 for CLIC Sargent. Thanks to the incredible support that Kilmaine provides CLIC Sargent, we could provide nearly three families with the support they need when facing childhood cancer.
