Around 20 children and young people who are being supported by CLIC Sargent in the local Birmingham area attended, along with their families.
Head Office staff members Sarah Aslam, Jane Groucott and Adam Fripp transformed their office’s dining area into a fun-filled party zone. The team set up an arts and crafts activity table for children to take part in Easter egg decorating, Easter bonnet making and painting activities.
Entertainment was put on by ‘Non-Stop Kids’, with families enjoying an enchanting magic show, getting involved in balloon modelling and even having their faces painted to transform themselves into Easter bunnies or their favourite heroes.
Tasty treats were provided for all the guests, and the children and young people got their very own Easter egg and a CLIC Sargent Snowy Bear to take home with them. Fun was had by all, including the adults!
A huge thank you from CLIC Sargent to H. Samuel and Ernest Jones jewellers for hosting such a fabulous event for the third year running. The Easter party is put on to help give children and their families some time to relax and have fun, as well as a chance to socialise with other families going through similar experiences with cancer.
H. Samuel and Ernest Jones jewellers’ partnership with CLIC Sargent is in its fourth year and has so far raised an incredible £597,836 since 2014. This year, Signet will be fundraising for CLIC Sargent’s Southampton Home from Home relocation project, Jean’s House, a free accommodation service that helps keep families together whilst their child receives treatment.
