A day of fun in Sheffield

CLIC Sargent Social Workers and colleagues in the Oncology Unit at Sheffield Children’s Hospital are planning a ‘Do It For You Day’ for children and young people who have been diagnosed with cancer and have finished their treatment.

The day is taking place at The Sheffield Institute of Sport and will include a wide range of activities from football to arts and crafts, and circus skills. The day aims to enable children and young people to get active and to lead healthy lifestyles. and is being supported by many organisations.

Many organisations are supporting the event, such as Eden who has very kindly provided free bottled water for the event. Companies are also donating their time and skills to encourage the children, young people and their families to join in the activities! If you think your company could help then get in touch with Jo Warmington on 0113 2883219 or email joanne.warmington@clicsargent.org.uk.
