Sophie Williams spreads the Christmas cheer in aid of CLIC Sargent

Ongoing CLIC Sargent supporter, Sophie Williams from Cheltenham has held her annual Christmas campaign in support of children and young people with cancer, and their families.

To mark two years since she was diagnosed with Leukaemia, Sophie organised her annual Christmas campaign designing her own hand-finished Christmas cards.

With the support of her local school using her Christmas cards as its official cards and the local Waitrose playing host to some festive carol singing, Sophie has managed to raise over £1,300 for CLIC Sargent this year.

Sophie’s mother, Lesley said: “Sophie and I enjoy being involved in fundraising for CLIC Sargent, they have given us so much support over the last two and a bit years. We are very grateful to friends and family who continue to support our fund raising efforts.

“I am extremely proud of Sophie who thinks of others despite what she is going through herself. We hope that our friends and family will continue to support any future fund raising initiatives even when Sophie has completed her treatment.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Hannah Worrall, said: “A huge well done to Sophie for all her fantastic fundraising efforts. Her family, friends and the community continue to show fantastic support for Sophie's fundraising efforts, helping so far to raise over £17,000 for CLIC Sargent. Thank you!”
