Share your experience of claiming for a Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

A new benefit, Personal Independence Payment (PIP), has been gradually replacing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for 16-64 year olds.

CLIC Sargent is aware that since the new benefit started to be rolled out, not all young people have reported positive experience of claiming the new benefit.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is undertaking an independent report to review of the roll out of PIP

This provides us with an opportunity to provide the Government with evidence on the experiences of young people with cancer.

If you’re aged 16-24 and have made a claim for PIP, please complete our survey and share your experiences with us.

The information that we collect through the survey will be critical to shaping our response to the review. We will be sharing the key findings of the survey with the Government to help shape the roll out of the new benefit.

It doesn’t matter what stage of the process you are at; if you have just made the initial telephone call, started your application process, had a face to face assessment or are still waiting for a decision on your application, please tell us about it by completing our survey.

Please note that anything that you tell us will not affect your claim and we will not use your name in any of the information that we share.
