Lidl Northern Ireland sets out fundraising plans for next partnership year

Lidl Northern Ireland has committed to raising £150,000 over two years through initiatives including staff fundraising, challenges, events and in-store activities.

Conor Boyle, Managing Director at Lidl NI, said: "At Lidl we are committed to Northern Ireland and supporting local communities. CLIC Sargent provides a wonderful service to local Northern Ireland families at an incredibly difficult time; with this partnership we can play our part in supporting that vital work for children and young people with cancer and their families.”

CLIC Sargent champions!

Each of the 38 Lidl stores in Northern Ireland have a CLIC Sargent ‘champ’ who helps to drive the fundraising initiatives forward. Last month these ‘champs’ got together to discuss their fundraising plans for the next year and all of the different ways that they can help.

Pupils from Antrim Primary School were invited along to the fundraising day to present to the team, after raising an incredible £6,000 for CLIC Sargent at their Christmas concert.

The school VIPs explained the need for fundraising for CLIC Sargent, as they sang and danced for the LIDL champs.

Thank you LIDL NI and Antrim Primary for joining the fight for young lives against cancer!
