The Glasgow Hospitals’ Christmas Carol Concert Committee have donated an incredible £23,295 to CLIC Sargent, proceeds from their 39th Annual Carol Concert on 1 December 2017.

At the choir reception on 23 January 2018, John Brown, the Chairman for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, praised the choir for their performance and their efforts to raise funds for the charity which helps children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Choir Coordinator Anne Laird said: “We’re very pleased to be able to make this fantastic donation."

"The choir and the organising committee work hard to ensure our event is a success each year and we are proud to support CLIC Sargent.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Engagement Manager Rachael McLean said: “Young cancer patients and their families receive vital support from CLIC Sargent, at Christmas and throughout the year.

"Our services are offered free of charge and it is thanks to supporters like the Glasgow Hospitals’ Christmas Carol Concert Committee and the performers and audiences taking part in their events that we are able to do this. We’d like to thank everyone involved.”
