Mass Participation Events – Coronavirus update

Bath Half Marathon did take place on Sunday, March 15. Some runners chose not to run at the official event, either opting not to take part in the event or to run virtual half marathon. CLIC Sargent supports all runners with their personal decision and have been in touch to discuss next steps with any runners that chose not to take part.

As this is such unprecedented circumstances there are some questions that we might not have the answers too right now and the Sports & Challenges Team are working hard behind the scenes to communicate to supporters and update them on their options. We are working closely with the event organisers for each of the races.

We recognise all of the incredible efforts that Team Young Lives have put in to their training and fundraising, and we are also very sad and share their disappointment. However we understand organisers’ decision to postpone. This is an upsetting and unsettling time for our participants – and we’ll do everything we can to support them and get through this together.

We are continuing to monitor the situation regarding our other events and will be in touch with supporters with any updates surrounding their events.
