Be a shop volunteer
Hundreds of amazing retail volunteers make it possible for our 25 charity shops in the South West to open every day. There’s nothing like the sense of community in CLIC Sargent charity shops – between our staff, volunteers and customers. You won't regret joining one of our shop volunteer teams.
We always need new volunteers in our charity shops so that we can raise even more money to help children and young people with cancer, and their families. Find out more about our shops and where they are.
What will I be doing as a shop volunteer?
- Spending time on the till interacting with our wonderful customers
- Preparing stock and merchandising
- Providing excellent customer service
- Being a friendly and welcoming member of the team.
You’ll be supported by the rest of the shop community and have the opportunity to develop relationships. If you have a special interest in an area of the shop our team will work with you so you can get the most out of your volunteering.
We are offering the opportunity to gain free NVQ qualifications in Customer Service, Retail Skills and Team Leadership run by Derby College to eligible volunteers.
