Player vs Cancer
Player vs Cancer is the perfect opportunity for gamers of all abilities to support children and young people with cancer, by doing something they love - gaming.
For many young lives affected by cancer, gaming can provide a vital escape during treatment. It provides a support network at a time when they feel most isolated. CLIC Sargent is there to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track after a cancer diagnosis. This is gaming for good.
Get inspired to join our fight for young lives against cancer. Game on.

7 ideas to get you playing and fundraising in no time…
No Hit Run
Pick a game (the harder the better!) and try to complete it without taking a single hit from an enemy. This works great if you’re streaming! Get people to donate to your page as added motivation to keep trying!
Switch it up
You and a friend take one switch controller each and try to control a character between you! This is a real way to test how in sync you are with your friend!
Challenge yourself to complete a game as fast as possible
Strange Controller Challenge
Pick a game then pick an entirely inappropriate controller. Guaranteed to be extremely frustrating and fun (for people watching…)
Desert Bus Marathon
Test your mental endurance to the limit with Desert Bus. Play an extra 5 minutes for every £5 donated!
Host your own ‘bragging rights’ tournament
Get your mates round and host a tournament of FIFA, COD or anything you play. Charge an entry (pay through our Justgiving page) and let the games begin until you find your champion.
FIFA Apology Donations
You and friends set up JustGiving pages – if you beat them they have to make a donation to your page and rightly apologise. Set one up for the season and see who raises the most and crown the best FIFA legend.
Q. Is there anything that I can’t do when streaming for you?
We really want you to be creative as you know what your viewers will respond to more than us. A good place to start is with the Twitch terms of service. Some pretty obvious things to avoid, smoking tobacco during your stream, drinking alcohol and taking recreational drugs (all kind of no brainers!)
If you have an idea you are unsure of and would like to check something with us just join our discord server: PY9UYC9 or email us at email@example.com.
Q. What will the money I raise go towards?
The money you raise will go towards supporting anyone under the age of 25 with cancer. Take a look around our website to see the many ways we support young cancer patients and their families.
Q. Which fundraising platform should I use?
It depends on how you want to fundraise. For streamers we recommend using Tiltify, as it has lots of added functions to make fundraising easier and more enjoyable for supporters without having to leave the stream to donate!
If you are doing an offline gaming fundraiser just giving is likely to be a better option – you can make a page by signing up on JustGiving.
