The London Marathon is the greatest fundraising event on the planet (fact) and we want you on Team CLIC Sargent!
Looking for a charity place?
Inspired by this year’s London Marathon and want a piece of the action next year? Well lucky for you, applications to join Team CLIC Sargent have now opened! If you’d like to join us on the starting line of the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon then apply now!
Our registration fee is £100 and we ask that you pledge to raise £2,000 to support children and young people with cancer. We’ll be in touch with successful applicants over the summer so make sure to tell us just how amazing you are and why running for CLIC Sargent would mean something to you.
Cancer is shocking, overwhelming, isolating … and completely unfair. Especially when you’re young.
From the moment of diagnosis, when young cancer patients are confused, scared and anxious, we’re there to help families cope.
We provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs. Our care teams provide day-to-day support for each child, young person and family, from information and guidance to clinical care and specialist play during treatment.
The perks of running with us
We love our runners, and we want them to have an awesome Marathon! Some of the benefits of joining our team are…
Access to our online training zone where you can find training plans, pace calculators, ask questions and even get advice on what to wear
An invitation to join our closed Facebook group. Meet the rest of the 2020 team, share fundraising and training tips and get excited together
A personalised running vest and face transfers, to make you look awesome and stand out in the crowd
The loudest, proudest cheer team along the route to help you smash through “the wall” and get across the finish line
A well-deserved massage to get you ready for…
The massive post-race party where you can mingle with new friends, swap stories and basically celebrate how amazing you all are
The support from CLIC Sargent was phenomenal. It was like being part of a family of crazy and fantastic people who have chosen to take on one of the greatest challenges in the world.
