Due to the current pandemic this event has been postponed until 10 October.
We will be in touch with all our amazing runners as soon as possible.
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon gives runners the chance to take in great views of the capital city and many of London’s historic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and the Royal Albert Hall. Join our fight and raise funds for young lives against cancer.
This event was set to go ahead in October but due to the Corona virus pandemic it has been postponed. Take part in the first ever April Royal Parks Half Marathon!
Our places are £30 and all we ask is that you pledge to raise £350 to help us support children and young people with cancer. But don’t worry, our amazing fundraising team are here to help you smash that in no time.
The money you raise could pay for a CLIC Sargent Play Specialist to spend the day with a child and help them to understand their cancer treatment. This reduces their anxiety and makes a frightening experience easier.
If you’ve already got your own place you can still join Team Young Lives and help support children and young people with cancer by raising whatever you can. We’d absolutely love to have you on our team.
Bespoke training support to get you over the finish line feeling great

The loudest of cheers on race day – we may have to be more than 2m away but you’ll still hear us
Cancer is shocking, overwhelming, isolating… and completely unfair. Especially when you’re young. It takes over your life. Treatment is gruelling and your ambitions and dreams suddenly seem very far away.
We get that. That’s why CLIC Sargent fights tirelessly to stop cancer destroying young lives. We provide grants and free accommodation close to hospital to help with spiralling costs. Our care teams are on hand to help families with everything from getting benefits to treatment closer to home. And we lobby the government to make sure they get the support they’re entitled to. We’re here to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track.
We’re really gutted that so many 2020 events were postponed or cancelled. We know we’re not in the clear yet, and you may be worried about booking onto this event and it being cancelled or postponed. But rest assured there is no risk!
Your safety is always our priority and if we or the event oragnisers don’t feel it’s safe for your event to go ahead then we will contact you to discuss this with you. All events will be council approved, will be COVID secure and will only go ahead in line with government guidance. We know it’s tricky to think ahead in times like these, but don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Normally our registration fees are non-refundable but if the Royal Parks Half Marathon is cancelled because of COVID, we will happily offer you a full refund of your registration fee.
