CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Peter Logie said: "We've had six great events with over £88,000 being raised. There is always a huge buzz about the place which we’re looking to repeat this year.
It’s great to bring such a fabulous event to Orkney and I’m sure people will turn out in great numbers as they do all over Scotland for this type of activity.
This is a real community event and my thanks go out to Highland Park and our local organizing team led by Brian Flett, the local Rotary Group and the Sea Cadets. Orkney Aggregates kindly provide a wonderful vehicle for the event at Scapa Bay."
Registration for the dip will take place on the day at the Sea Cadet Hall and will start at 1.00pm.
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £50 each, but everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the fun.
Entry forms for the Scapa Bay Dip are available from Bruces Stores, Scottish Hydro, the Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall and John Rae Store in Stromness.
