Golf Club Road Stanton by Dale
United Kingdom

The Mayor of Erewash will be rounding off her year of fundraising with a charity golf day to raise money for her two chosen charities, one of which is CLIC Sargent.

The Mayor of Erewash, who has chosen CLIC Sargent as one of her charities for the year, will be hosting the four person team Stableford Competition off 9/10ths handicap with the best two scores at each hole to count.

The event

The event will see a fantastic day of golf at one of the premiere golfing venues in the East Midlands, the Erewash Valley Golf Club.

This is the first golf club in Derbyshire and one of only five clubs in England to be awarded the ‘NEW National GolfMark Award’.
It will begin with tea/coffee and a bacon roll, and after a round of 18 holes, will finish with a two-course meal.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Mayor’s Charities.

The entry fee is £160 per team, which includes refreshments and a two course meal.

To enter your team, entry forms and further details are available from the Civic Support Office, Town Hall, Ilkeston, Derbyshire DE7 5RP, or by phoning 0115 907 1115 or by contacting councillor Danny Treacy on 07846 732 572.

Fairway fun!

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Blaine Cooper-Jones said: “This promises to be a great day of golf and a fantastic way to end a year of incredible support from the Mayor of Erewash.

“Whilst having fun on the fairway, those involved in the event will be raising vital funds for children and young people with cancer, we are really grateful for this support.”
