Red Lodge Karting is proud to host Challenge 21 - the fourth endurance karting challenge supporting CLIC Sargent. The event will be held in memory of Liam Fairhurst in what would have been his 21st year.
The event is presented by the Liam Fairhurst Foundation, a charity set up in memory of Liam to help more young people affected by cancer, disabilities and illness.
Challenge 21 will see teams of four to eight drivers compete for the Liam's Smile Trophy, in addition to other exciting prizes.
Each session lasts three hours plus 20 minutes of practice per team so you can get used to your kart.
Two sessions will take place, participants can choose to sign up to either the morning race event starting at 9am or the afternoon event starting at 2pm - or you could even choose to sign up to both!
How to enter
Cost of entry per team is £290 and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £400 per team. All funds raised will be in support of CLIC Sargent's work with young cancer patients and their families.
Spaces are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
Exciting corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun, team build with colleagues and raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
A mini-market will also be taking place on the day in the newly opened presentation room at Red Lodge Karting, where local businesses are invited to book a stand and showcase their wares.
In memory of Liam
This event is held in memory of Liam Fairhurst who sadly died from soft tissue cancer in 2009, aged 14, to continue his fundraising and to celebrate his passion for karting and for fundraising.
Since starting the Endurance Challenge events in 2010 Red Lodge Karting Ltd has raised an impressive £46,000 for CLIC Sargent, which provided support to Liam and his family.
