Director Andrew Wasyliw invites you to a screening for his first experimental feature film, ‘Alice’, at the Deptford Cinema, with all profits raising money for CLIC Sargent.

Alice (2016): Film screening

Alice is a troubled young woman and generally keeps to herself. Suffering from nightmares of a figure entering her home, she is cautious to let new people into her life.

She meets Tom, whose nervous energy and kind nature puts her at ease. Alice feels comfortable lowering her guard for him and they soon become an item.

As Tom becomes more involved in Alice’s life, he starts to show hints of other sides to his personality. Could Tom be a danger to Alice, or are these warning signs just her paranoia playing tricks on her?

Giving something back

Andy said: “I chose to present the film through CLIC Sargent because they helped me and my family when I was going through childhood cancer in Bristol.

“I wanted to take this opportunity to give something back by donating profits from the screening to their organisation.”

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Charlie Straker said: “When cancer strikes young lives we fight tirelessly to limit the damage it causes beyond their health. We rely entirely on donations to fund our vital work and so we can’t thank Andy enough for supporting us with his film screening.”
