Politics and engagement

British Youth Council

British Youth Council aims to empower young people to have a say and be heard. Their website provides a range of resources for young people in the UK, to help them run their own campaigns on issues they care about.

Catch 21

Catch 21 is a video production company run for and by young people. They create non-partisan political videos on issues that young people care about, which can be watched on YouTube or via their website.

On Change.org, people connect across geographic and cultural borders to support causes they care about. The platform empowers people to start campaigns, mobilise supporters, and work with decision makers to drive solutions.

National Association for Patient Participation (NAPP)

NAPP is the umbrella organisation for patient participation groups in the UK. Patient Participation Groups work with their GP practices, providing practical support and strategic advice. Young people may find their downloadable guides to ‘Patient Participation Groups’ and ‘Joining a patient participation group’ particularly useful.

UK Youth Parliament

The UK Youth Parliament enables young people to use their energy and passion to change the world for the better. The organisation provides opportunities for 11-18 year olds to use their elected voice to bring about social change through meaningful representation and campaigning.
