Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust organises sailing trips for eight to 24-year-olds who have cancer, leukaemia and other serious illnesses.


On jtv, teenagers and young people who are, or have been, undergoing treatment for cancer share their experiences through video diaries, short films, music and animation.


US website, LIVESTRONG, offers information and support to young adults with cancer. While some of the resources may be US-specific, the site may also be a useful community of peer-support for those in the UK.

Macmillan Cancer Support provide practical, emotional and financial support for people diagnosed with cancer, their families, carers and communities.

Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust funds and develops specialist cancer units within NHS hospitals in England, Scotland and Wales, that bring young people together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in an environment tailored to meet their needs.

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer

Teens Unite is dedicated to providing long-term, ongoing support to 13 to 24-year-olds with cancer. Regular fun days out bring teens together and help build their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Willow is a national charity that provides emotional support to seriously ill 16 to 40-year-olds through special day experiences. At a time of uncertainty, these special days can help boost confidence, create special memories and restore a sense of normality for the young person and their loved ones.

Youth Cancer Trust

Youth Cancer Trust is a charity that provides support and free, activity-based holidays for 14 to 30-year-olds who have cancer or are in remission. The holidays are based in Bournemouth, but are open to young people from across the UK and Ireland.
