25% of monies raised can be kept by your school or music group with 75% going to help children with cancer

Practice-a-thon Music has been running for several years and with the help of musical children across the UK it has raised over half a million for children and young people with cancer.

Join over 50,000 young people helping others to have a better life through their enjoyment of music!

Taking part is easy, you could either:

  1. Decide on any two week period to do sponsored practice between September and June – this can be from five minutes a day to five hours a day! (Some people choose to do this just before exams, before a concert or simply to improve)
  2. Hold an event – this can be any time between September and June and could be for parents and families or even members of the public.
  3. Do both! Why not hold an event to thank all the friends and family who gave sponsorship money.

In your pack you will get everything you need to make your event easy and successful and you will be raising money to put back into your school or group.
