Every year a committed group of singers and musicians get together for the annual CLIC Sargent Carol Concert to raise money for young lives against cancer.

Tickets priced from just £6 are available from the Theatre Royal ticket office.
The choir, conducted this year by Monica Buckland, is made up of the Newcastle Hospitals Choir, senior choirs and choristers of Kings Priory Academy and New Tyneside Orchestra, and will once again be joined by choirs from the following schools:
- Highfield Middle School, Prudhoe
- St Joseph’s RC School, Hexham
- Cullercoats Primary School
They will be joined by the CLIC Sargent Singers who have a shared love of music and a shared experience of cancer, having met as part of our Music Programme, which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Dee Tyler said: “We are delighted to have the concert back at the City Hall this year where it has been for so many years.
“It is sure to be a wonderful festive experience as always and I urge you to get your tickets soon.
“The committee have worked tirelessly to pull together an exciting programme which will entertain all ages and audiences.
“I want to thank them enormously for all their hard work and for continuing to support CLIC Sargent. They are always looking for volunteers to join the committee and help them organise the event and help out on the day. If you could be this person, please get in touch.”
