Almost 90 students from at Oxford Brookes University have got into the festive spirit to help support children and young people with cancer, and held a fancy dress fundraiser
The theme was to dress as something beginning with either the letter C, or the letter S (for CLIC Sargent). Some of the costumes included Shrek, Simon Cowell, Superman and a Christmas present!
The students raised over £90 for children and young people with cancer.
The organiser of the event, Louise Bradley explained: “For the past year, I have been working together with the other BA Primary Education students at Oxford Brookes University to raise money for the children and young people’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent, a fantastic and inspirational charity that is close to many of our hearts.”
"I was keen to get everyone together before the Christmas break to raise money not only to support the outstandingly courageous children who battle with cancer each day, but also to celebrate the remarkable work of everyone on the CLIC Sargent team.”
