CLIC Sargent is one of four charities benefitting from the Classic FM Christmas Appeal. The appeal hopes to raise £25,000 to help children and young people with cancer and their families.
Throughout December, which is also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Classic FM listeners are being asked to donate to the radio station’s appeal by entering raffles online at www.classicfm.com as well as having the chance to bid for exciting, money-can’t-buy and celebrity prizes that will be auctioned live on air for each of the four beneficiary charities between 15 – 21 December.
The Classic FM Foundation will donate the proceeds from the following four raffle prizes to CLIC Sargent - check them out and see what fantastic Christmas presents you could win. One raffle ticket costs just £2.
- A cello lesson with Julian Lloyd Webber, a world leading cellist and CLIC Sargent patron at Classic FM in Leicester Square, London.
- A family holiday at a Hoburne Holiday Park
- A family photoshoot with internationally acclaimed photographer Tamara Peel
- A two night stay for two at the luxury Lifestyle spa and hotel
During the appeal Classic FM listeners will also hear about the experiences of young people with cancer who have been supported by CLIC Sargent, as well as and celebrity supporters – helping listeners to understand more about the impact of cancer on children and young people, and the vital support CLIC Sargent provides.
Classic FM’s Christmas Appeal hopes to raise £25,000 to fund the first CLIC Sargent weeklong, residential music workshops for young cancer survivors between 16-24 years old.
