In April 2012, students at Uxbridge High School lost their friend and classmate Jamaal Salandy to a brain tumour. On Thursday 12 July, two forms in year 10 presented a cheque to Elizabeth Charing from CLIC Sargent for £230.15.

Members of Sheffield University’s Lacrosse Club have been busy fundraising for CLIC Sargent in memory of their friend Holly Willis who sadly died in March 2011 aged 21. Holly, who was from Hertfordshire and supported by CLIC Sargent, was a student of the university and a member of the club.
CLIC Sargent has been presented with over £6,000 at the recently held Scottish Entertainment Guide Awards. CLIC Sargent was the charity partner for the event, hosted by Glasgow TV Presenter and Comedian, Des Clarke. The charitable donation was presented by Warren Paul, event organiser.
