Students from Rainham School for Girls take to the stage

18 talented musicians took to the stage to perform popular music. The audience enjoyed an hour and half of singing and piano whilst raising £132.60!

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager for Kent and East Sussex, Hannah Auer, said: "Congratulations and thank you to each and every student as they not only performed beautifully, but they also organised and ran the entire concert, held a raffle and provided a great range of refreshments during the interval."

The money raised from this event could pay for a family to stay for four nights in one of CLIC Sargent's Homes from Home, providing free self-catering accommodation near to specialist children's cancer treatment centres, which are often many miles from a family's own home. Staying in a Home from Home ensures a family can be close to their child during treatment. The atmosphere in a Home from Home is friendly and welcoming. If they are well enough, the child or young person can stay there too.
