The 100 Project raises funds with Pan-Europe challenge

Hywel and Owen took on an extreme 1,400K cycle challenge from Cheltenham to Berlin, raising funds for cancer charities, including CLIC Sargent.

Still smiling

Cheltenham based charity The 100 Project supports individuals undergoing cancer treatment by taking portraits of cancer survivors, sourcing Plushi toys for children, and other fantastic fundraising activities for their charity partners, including CLIC Sargent.

This year, Hywel and Owen decided to challenge themselves even further for the cause; taking on an epic pan-European cycle from Cheltenham to Berlin over eight days.

Ups and downs

The road had many ups and downs throughout their journey; they pushed themselves through some difficult traffic and hill climbs and the team were amazed by the flat cycle tracks in The Netherlands and Belgium.

To date, The 100 Project has raised over £14,000 for cancer causes, made possible through the support from businesses and individuals.
