The community of Winchcombe came together to enjoy an evening of entertainment at the annual Winchcombe Summer Ball, raising almost £3,000 in support of children and young people with cancer, and their families.
The ball was held in a stunning marquee in the grounds of Winchcombe School. Guests enjoyed a fantastic four course dinner, bar, casino and live band.
Funds were raised for CLIC Sargent in support of Jasmine, a local six-year-old girl who is currently receiving treatment for cancer.
Liz Stranks, one of the organisers of the event said: “We have had so many positive comments about the evening and everyone who helped played a big part in the overall success of the evening.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Hannah Worrall said: “We are thrilled that the evening was such a great success and it is wonderful to see the great rewards when a community such as Winchcombe works together.”
