Walsall-based baby and children accessories company, Truly Madly Baby, has launched a new campaign to raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
Truly Madly Baby will donate £4 to CLIC Sargent for each PillowHead® cushion they sell either online or via business consultants.
Ruth Smith, Charity Champion at Truly Madly Baby and trained play specialist, said: “CLIC Sargent is a charity close to our hearts. We have a passion for children’s well-being and we wanted to do something to help children with cancer and their families. We decided to donate part of the profit from one of our best selling items.
“All the staff and consultants are really excited about this new initiative, so much so that we are also taking part in extra fundraising activities in aid of CLIC Sargent like the national Wig Wednesday event that took place on the 22 May, during which we raised £232. Some of us are also dusting off our running shoes to take on a new challenge!”
Truly Madly Baby aims to raise at least £1,000 from the sales of the Pillowhead® by 31 December 2014. This amount could pay for a family to stay for a month in a CLIC Sargent Home from Home whilst their child receives cancer treatment at a nearby treatment centre.
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Noemie Salvaudon, said: ‘We would like to thank Truly Madly Baby for their support and their enthusiasm. It is fantastic to see such motivation from everyone at the company.”
