Terry Commer from Tonbridge has set himself the challenge of raising £1,200 for CLIC Sargent by taking on a 24 hour fishing challenge to catch half a tonne of fish!
Terry is taking on the ultimate challenge; a 24 hour fishing marathon which will see him aim to catch half a ton of fish (1,120lb) over 29 and 30 May to help support CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people living with cancer.
Terry says: "I have organised this unique challenge as I haven't fundraised before. I just felt the urge to do something, I'm a keen fisherman and love to set my own personal challenges so this was ideal!"
The money that Terry hopes to raise could pay for a CLIC Sargent Nurse for a week whilst they coordinate clinical and non-clinical care for children with cancer.
