Guests at this year’s Bristol and Bath Women in Business Awards have donated £670 to CLIC Sargent.
The awards are run by the Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle in association with the University of the West of England. The event celebrates the achievements of businesswomen and entrepreneurs across the region.
The awards took place on 17 March 2016 at the Bristol Marriott and the Woman of the Year is Vashti Seth, founder of Deki.
CLIC Sargent Area Fundraising Manager Tori Williams said: “We are incredibly grateful for the support that the Bristol and Bath Women in Business Awards has given this year.
“The Awards Ceremony guests have raised an amazing £670. This generous donation could pay for a family to stay for three weeks in a CLIC Sargent Home from Home; staying in a Home from Home ensures a family can be close to their child throughout their hospital treatment. Every penny raised will help provide vital support for children and young people with cancer, and their families.”
