Staff from McGill’s Buses took part in a sponsored charity head shave, raising almost £1,000 for CLIC Sargent.
The Greenock Torpedo Factory was transformed into a pop-up barbers for 10 Greenock drivers to take part in CLIC Sargent's Big Buzz. Other events included a raffle, bake sale and a leg wax!
The event was organised by McGill’s inspector Tony Hogan, who said: “I was overwhelmed with the support from the other bus drivers, staff and everyone who sponsored us to take part.”
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Katie Grier said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at McGill’s for joining our campaign and becoming life shavers.
“Every day 10 children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Many will lose their hair during treatment, and our Big Buzz campaign gives you the chance to show support for them by shaving your head.”
