Every pack of McVitie’s biscuits bought at Morrisons over the next two weeks will raise money to increase the number of specialist nurses working with young cancer patients. Help us meet our target of £100,000 simply by restocking your biscuit tin.
Everyone loves a biscuit
That's why we're working with Morrisons and McVitie’s on a new, nationwide campaign – Snack & Give Back. Together, we hope to raise £100,000 to help fund a new team of nurses.
£100,000 will help us to expand our team of specialist nurses who educate other health, social care and education professionals close to families’ homes, so that they have the skills and experience to provide the best possible care for young lives against cancer.
Saying thank you
McVitie’s have sent some of our volunteers a 'big biscuity thank you' hamper and biscuit medal for going above and beyond for us.
These ‘biscuit heroes’ include ‘The Hampshire Houdini’, Dan Churchley, who escaped from a straightjacket while dangled upside down beneath Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower to raise money for young cancer patients. Other special fundraisers include Mel Ward and Kim Fudge, friends who ran the London Marathon and took requests for ‘carpool karaoke’ performances which they filmed for YouTube.
How you can help
Visit any Morrisons store, or shop online, between 28 June - 11 July and buy any pack of McVitie’s biscuits. Whether you’re a hobnobber, a ginger nutter or a digestive lover, 5p from your purchase will go towards supporting our work with young people up and down the UK.
Together we can reach our £100,000 target and take on the fight for young lives against cancer.
