Jon Wrench is a lover of challenges, so friends and family weren’t so surprised when he announced he was going to walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Jon decided to walk for CLIC Sargent, a charity he deeply respects.
Beginning his 950 mile journey on 28 April from Land’s End, he completed the challenge in a staggering 61 days, had just 12 rest days along the way and walked an average of 15.5 miles each day.
Jon raised a fantastic £2,368 from his extreme challenge, and all this with no injuries and just one (albeit very big) blister.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Jon for his enthusiasm and effort and also to his friends and family for their incredible generosity.
