20 May is Wig Wednesday, when thousands of schools, businesses and organisations across the UK will don their wigs to support children and young people with cancer.
Employees from Carnival Cruise Lines got 'wiggy' for last year’s Wig Wednesday and raised over £300 to help support children and young people with cancer, and their families.
Staff from Carnival Cruise Lines and Gail Kenny Executive Recruitment took part in last year's Wig Wednesday.
They were busy fundraising for a full day - with a blindfolded chocolate tasting, Wig Quiz and 'pin the funnel on the ship' game. They also went out and about in London raising awareness of the national campaign.
Lucy, from Carnival Cruise Lines, said: "It was a really good day and I’m pleased we have raised £316 for CLIC Sargent."
CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager Elizabeth Charing said: "Thank you to all from Carnival Cruise Lines and Gail Kenny Recruitment for taking part in Wig Wednesday.
"Not only have they raised a great amount to support children and young people with cancer, they raised awareness of the campaign on the streets of London.”
