CLIC Sargent raises funds during Princesshay Charity Christmas Tree Festival

CLIC Sargent’s Christmas tree has been announced as the winner of the 'best dressed tree’ at Princesshay Charity Christmas Tree Festival.

Supporters can now sponsor a ribbon on the tree and help support children and young people with cancer, and their families.

The brightly coloured CLIC Sargent Christmas tree in Princesshay is one of 30 trees decorated by local charities in the Princesshay Charity Christmas Tree Festival.

The lights were switched on by the Lord Mayor who then announced CLIC Sargent as the winner of the best dressed tree, judged by European Athletics Championship Gold medallist, Jo Pavey.

The CLIC Sargent tree displays 142 homemade ribbons that represent each child or young people from Devon who has been supported by CLIC Sargent in the past year.

We are now asking supporters to sponsor a ribbon by texting CLIC25 £3 to 70070. All donations will help to support children and young people with Christmas.

CLIC Sargent Fundraising Manager, Stephanie Cherington-Rimmell said: “We are thrilled to be part of the Christmas tree display in Princesshay this year and even more thrilled to have been voted the winner by Jo Pavey.

We hope that everyone will enjoy seeing the trees and will sponsor one of our ribbons.
